Welcome to Nature's Hideaway Family Campground! A relaxed, rustic, family-friendly place to enjoy nature, the river, and time together. These guidelines help keep the campground comfortable and enjoyable for all guests.

 

       BEFORE YOU ARRIVE - TOP 3 THINGS TO KNOW

 

1. We are a 20-amp campground - air conditioners and electric heaters are not permitted.

2. Potable water is trucked in - please conserve water.

3. This is a rustic nature-focused campground with gravel roads and simple services.

 

        HOURS

Check-in: 2:00 pm

Check-out: 12:00 pm

Playground closes at dark / 10:00 pm

Quiet Time - 11:00 pm - 9:00 am

• Voices low after 11:00 pm

• No loud music at any time

• Music off by 11:00 pm

Washrooms and Showers​

• Indoor washrooms and showers: 7:00 am - 10:00 pm

• Porta-potties available after hours

 

       WATER USE

• Potable water is trucked in

• Please conserve water

• No vehicle washing, kiddie pools, or water games

• Outdoor showers are not permitted

• Tenters: use a basin for dishwashing (no free-flow water)

 

       POWER AND SERVICES

• 20-amp service campground

• Air conditioners, electric heaters and generators not permitted

• Use of Air conditioning may result in loss of site privileges

 

       SITES

• Extra extension cords and water hoses strongly recommended

• Non-serviced sites - please bring your own water

• Do not walk through other guests sites

• Do not move firepits or picnic tables

 

       CAMPERS AND VEHICLES

• All vehicles must register at the office

• Tag must be visible on rear-view mirror

• Untagged vehicles may be towed at owner's expense

• Maximum 6 adults per site (includes campers plus visitors)

• Visitor hours end at 8:00 pm

       VISITORS

• Must register at office on arrival

• $10 per adult

• Visiting hours:  10:00 am - 8:00 pm

​

       PETS

• $ 3 per pet / night

• Must be on leash/tied at all times, including beach

• Do not leave pets unattended at site or in RV

 

       RIVER

• Enjoy the river at your own comfort level

• Children should be supervised near the water

• Lifejackets recommended

• Be mindful of changing conditions

 

       FIREWOOD AND SAFETY

• No pallets, painted wood, or wood with nails

• Firewood available at the office

• No ATVs - surrounding land is private
